We are not building a beverage company with a community attached.

Social Life Needs a Better Center

For a long time, alcohol has been treated as the default center of social life.

 

The easy invitation.
The familiar ritual.
The excuse to gather.
The way people lower the wall between themselves and the room.

But many people are beginning to ask a better question:

What would our social lives look like if we did not need alcohol to make them work?

Not less fun.

Not less depth.

Not less connection.

More honesty. More memory. More presence. More friendship. More intention.

The problem is not that people want less life.

The problem is that many of the available social scripts feel thin, exhausted, or misaligned with the kind of life people are trying to build.

Sober Socials is a Waco and Central Texas community for intentional social life.

It is for people who still want to gather, laugh, meet new people, build friendships, go out, host dinners, have real conversations, explore the city, and share memorable experiences—without placing alcohol at the center of every room.

You do not have to explain your whole life to enter.

You do not have to perform a label.

You do not have to be in recovery to want better nights.

You only need to recognize that your social life is worth building on purpose.

Sober Socials exists for the person who wants more than another night of noise.

More than shallow networking.

More than pretending the old script still works.

This is a founding-stage community.

The Lodge is the place this work is building toward: a membership-based physical institution for table culture, ritual beverage service, private Gatherings, fellowship, community formation, intentional hospitality, and a better social life made durable through place.

But the current stage is not about rushing into a facility.

It is about proving the community.

Building the rhythm.
Testing the rituals.
Forming the trust.
Learning what people return to.
Earning the right to build something permanent.

We are beginning in Waco because Waco is home.

Founder Note

I built this because I needed it first.

​

I know what it is like to want a social life that does not keep pulling you backward. I know what it is like to outgrow old rooms before the new ones exist. I know what it is like to look around and realize that many people are quietly hungry for friendship, conversation, fellowship, memory, and a better reason to gather.

​

Sober Socials is my answer to that hunger.

LĪBĀTIŌ is the beverage we are bringing to the table.

LSSL is the structure that gives the work a chance to last.​
