Welcome

If you are here, it probably means something on this site, in the work, or in a conversation around it made you curious enough to reach out.

I’m glad you’re here.

The simplest way to contact me is through the Message Brodysseus chat feature in the bottom right corner of the screen. Use that for quick questions, simple notes, introductions, or anything that does not need a formal meeting.

For anything more substantive, scroll down and choose the path that fits.

Let's Connect

Bring the Real Matter.

Some messages are simple.

Some conversations open doors.

Some introductions become friendships, partnerships, interviews, collaborations, gatherings, or the beginning of work that neither person could have predicted before the first exchange.

That is why this page exists.

It is a place to reach me with clarity, curiosity, and purpose.

You may be here because of Sober Socials.

You may be considering sitting down for Walk With the Wise.

You may want to discuss Lone Star Social Labs, LĪBĀTIŌ, a partnership, a personal matter, a local opportunity, a creative idea, or something that does not fit neatly into a category yet.

That is fine.

Start with the reason.

Tell me who you are, what brought you here, and what feels worth discussing.

My time and attention are valuable.

So are meaningful connections.

I try to protect the first so I can remain available for the second.

A Note Before You Reach Out

I value intentional conversations and meaningful connection.

I like meeting people who are building something, carrying something, questioning something, recovering something, creating something, or trying to put language around an idea that will not leave them alone.

Some of the best things in my life have started with a simple message.

A question.

A referral.

A conversation after an event.

A note from someone who had been watching the work from a distance and finally decided to reach out.

So yes, I want the door to be open.

I also want it to be intentional.

I am building several things at once, and I have learned that clear communication is a gift. It helps me understand the matter, honor the person, and choose the right next step.

The best message gives me enough context to know what kind of conversation we are actually having.

Who are you?

What are you reaching out about?

Why does it matter?

What would make the conversation useful?

Start there.

I will meet the message as honestly as I can.

Choose the Right Door
Sober Socials

Reach out here if you are curious about the community, interested in local gatherings, looking for sober social connection, wondering how to get plugged in, or carrying an idea for a better kind of social life in Waco / Central Texas. Sober Socials is for people who want real friendship, memorable experiences, deeper conversation, wholesome fun, and a social life that does not need alcohol at the center of every room. Come curious. Come honest. Come with a desire to build something better. [SOBER SOCIALS INQUIRY] [JOIN THE COMMUNITY]

Walk With the Wise

Reach out here if you are a prospective guest for Walk With the Wise, or if someone invited you to consider sitting down for the series. Walk With the Wise is a long-form conversation project built to preserve origin stories, hard-earned wisdom, craft, conviction, and vision. This is not a gotcha interview. It is not a promotional slot. It is not shallow content for the algorithm. It is a table for serious conversation with people whose lives, work, leadership, discipline, artistry, service, or experience are worth learning from. The conversation is built around three movements: Origin. Craft. Vision. Where did you come from? What has your work taught you? What wisdom would you leave for the next generation? You do not need to have everything polished before reaching out. You simply need a real story, earned perspective, and a willingness to sit in an honest conversation. Guest nominations are also welcome. If there is someone in Waco, Central Texas, or the broader Texas story whose wisdom should not pass quietly through the room, send their name and tell me why they matter.

Lone Star Social Lab / LĪBĀTIŌ

Reach out here for conversations related to Lone Star Social Lab, Sober Socials as an operating platform, LĪBĀTIŌ, venue partnerships, beverage development, hospitality, events, advisory support, regulatory support, capital-adjacent conversation, or strategic collaboration. This work is early. That means the right relationships matter. Bring context. Bring relevance. Bring a clear reason for the conversation.

Reach out here for personal notes, local introductions, church or fellowship connections, meaningful questions, serious life conversations, or matters that belong outside the project categories. Direct does not have to mean heavy. It simply means the message is personal enough to deserve a more human door.

Personal / Direct

Reach out here for podcasts, interviews, panels, writing collaborations, creative projects, civic conversations, or public-facing opportunities. I am selective with public conversations, but I am interested in the right ones. Send the platform, audience, topic, timing, and why the conversation makes sense.

Speaking, Media, and Collaboration

Some things do not fit the menu. That is normal. Use this path when the matter is real but the category is unclear. A thoughtful “not sure where this belongs, but here is the reason I am reaching out” is better than forcing the message into the wrong box.

Other / Not Sure
Conversation Formats
Google Meet

Best for most first conversations, project inquiries, advisory conversations, Walk With the Wise guest discussions, LSSL /LĪBĀTIŌ matters, and non-local meetings.

Phone Call

Best for brief introductions, personal matters, simple questions, and conversations where video is unnecessary.

Discord

Best for Sober Socials, Round Table discussions, community conversation, and recurring digital fellowship.

In-Person

Best for local conversations in Waco / Central Texas where there is enough context, trust, or relevance to justify meeting face to face.

In-person meetings are handled by approval, not open booking.

Start With the Intake Form

The Connect Intake Form helps me understand the purpose of the inquiry before placing anything on the calendar.

Please include:

  • Your name.

  • Your email.

  • Your city or location.

  • What this is regarding.

  • Why you are reaching out.

  • What you hope to discuss.

  • What outcome you are looking for.

  • Your preferred conversation format.

  • Any relevant links, context, or background.

Be concise, but not vague.

The goal is to help me understand the matter.

Message Brodysseus

For a simpler note, use the Message Brodysseus chat button in the bottom right corner of the site.

That is the quickest way to send a short message while you are still on the page.

Use it for:

  • A quick question.

  • A simple introduction.

  • A note about something you found on the site.

  • A Sober Socials question.

  • A Walk With the Wise guest question.

A direct message that does not need a full form.

For deeper inquiries, use the intake form.

For quick contact, message me directly through the site.

How This Works

1. Send the Message

Use the intake form, project inquiry, or Message Brodysseus chat feature.

Give me enough context to understand what kind of conversation this is.

2. I Read It

I will review the message and decide the best next step.

That may be a direct reply.

It may be a scheduling link.

It may be a project page, community link, Discord invitation, guest preparation note, nomination path, or a better contact route.

Some messages may not become meetings.

That is part of keeping the right conversations meaningful.

3. We Choose the Right Container

Different conversations need different rooms.

A Sober Socials intro is not the same thing as an LSSL partner conversation.

A Walk With the Wise guest pre-conversation is not the same thing as a personal note.

A quick chat is not the same thing as an in-person meeting.

Start with the reason, and we will choose the right container from there.

Wix note: This section should feel inviting, not defensive. It sets expectations while preserving openness.

A Note on Time and Attention

I value meaningful connection.

I also value focused work.

Both matter.

I am building Sober Socials, Walk With the Wise, LĪBĀTIŌ, The Chronicle & Library, Brodysseus.com, and the larger body of work behind them.

That requires protected attention.

It also requires people.

The right conversation at the right time can change the shape of a project, open a door, clarify a path, or create a friendship neither person saw coming.

That is why I keep the door open.

I simply ask that you enter it with intention.

Common Questions
Can I book a meeting directly?

Most meetings begin with the intake form or a direct message first.

Once I understand the purpose, I can send the right scheduling link.

Can I use the site chat instead?

Yes.

Use the Message Brodysseus button in the bottom right corner for quick notes, simple questions, or direct messages while you are on the site.

Use the intake form for deeper inquiries.

Can we meet in person?

Possibly.

In-person meetings are generally reserved for local conversations with clear context, relevance, or existing connection.

I may be a good fit for Walk With the Wise. Should I reach out?

Yes.

Send a note with who you are, where you are from, the work you have done, the story you carry, and why you believe the conversation may be worth recording.

You do not need to pitch yourself like a celebrity.

The series is interested in earned wisdom, not status alone.

Can I nominate someone else for Walk With the Wise?

Yes.

Send their name, background, connection to Waco or Texas, why they matter, and what wisdom you believe should be preserved.

Can I reach out about Sober Socials even if I am not sober?

Yes.

Sober Socials is for people who want a better social life without placing alcohol at the center. You do not need to explain your whole life to be curious.

Can I reach out about LSSL or LĪBĀTIŌ?

Yes.

Please include who you are, your organization if applicable, the nature of the opportunity, and what kind of conversation you are requesting.

Can I send something personal?

Yes.

Use the direct note path or Message Brodysseus.

Be clear enough for me to understand how to receive the message.

Will every inquiry receive a response?

I will do my best to respond to serious, clear, relevant messages.

A submitted form or chat message does not guarantee a response or meeting.

Begin Here

A good message does not need to be perfect.

It just needs to be real.

Tell me what brought you here.

Tell me what caught your attention.

Tell me what you are building, wondering, carrying, offering, or hoping to discuss.

Some conversations will be simple.

Some will become something more.

Start with the reason.
